About PlayAssist
Free helpers for word, card and dice games.
What we do
PlayAssist is a small collection of free game helpers: a five-letter word solver, a letter tile word finder, a Texas Hold’em odds calculator and a dice roller with exact probability charts. We built it because many helper sites are cluttered, slow or hide how they reach their answers.
How we test
The poker hand evaluator is checked against the standard published count of every seven-card hand category (133,784,560 hands), and the simulation is checked against exact enumeration of every possible board where that is feasible (flop and later) and against well-known pre-flop figures. The dice chart is computed exactly and verified against brute-force enumeration of small cases. The word tools are tested with hand-made clue sets, and the word lists are checked for length, duplicates and stray characters. Every figure printed on a tool page is asserted by an automated test.
Privacy by design
Every tool runs in your browser. The letters, cards and dice expressions you enter are not uploaded to our servers. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. It currently shows no advertising. If we add ads in future they will be clearly labelled, kept away from input fields, and described in the Privacy Policy first. The poker page will not carry ads.
Independence
PlayAssist is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game, publisher or trademark owner. Any game names that appear in text are used only to describe what a tool is compatible with.
Limits you should know about
Our word lists are lists of common English words that we generated, not official dictionaries. Poker results are simulated estimates against random opponents. If you spot an error or have a suggestion, get in touch.
