About these word helpers
Both tools search a list of English words that we generated for this site: 3,603 five-letter words for the solver, and 7,270 words of 2 to 8 letters for the tile finder (the five-letter words are part of that total). The list is not copied from any game or published dictionary, and it is not an official answer list or tournament dictionary, so a valid word may be missing and a word your game rejects may be included. Treat the results as strong suggestions and confirm disputed words in the dictionary your game uses.
Which one to use
The five-letter solver is for guessing puzzles with colored feedback: you tell it which letters were right, misplaced or absent, and it narrows the list and ranks what is left. The tile finder is for rack games: you tell it your letters, with a question mark for each blank tile, and it lists words you can build, with a plain letter-value score for each.
Everything runs in your browser. The letters you type are never sent to a server. If you would rather solve a puzzle without help, use the tools after the game, to see what else you could have played.
